a bit of history guys... at 9:24 the malay language was influenced from sanscript before the Sultanate of Malacca and had it's own name. you can only find the written form archived in other countries. to name a few, the UK, Netherlands and Russia. After the Sultans conversion to Islam the Malay language used Arabic alphabets but pronounced in Malay. This was until around 1970s the Malay language used the English alphabets. The official Indonesian language is based on Malay language due to the wide spread usage for mainly trade since Malacca was an international port. The official Indonesian language is based on the Malay language. Only after the independence of Indonesia the new government separated its name to Bahasa Indonesia.

most of these facts only apply for certain ppl not Malaysia in general our official languages are Malay (Bahasa Melayu) and English (British English)

Many of these points are not general Malaysian points, but rather an ethnic culture.

Meaning the point about dead body or the child naming does not apply to all Malaysian.
