Meet the Astronauts Behind the Historic Artemis 2 Mission!

The crew for the historic Artemis II mission was announced April 3, 2023. This crew will be the first human visit to the moon for NASA in over 50 years (since Apollo 17). This return will not only take the first Canadian Astronaut to the moon, but also the first female astronaut. The first woman to go to the moon is slated to be Christina H. Koch, a renowned research scientist and flight engineer.

To make this venture happen, industries both government and civilian came together to produce next-generation technologies such as the SpaceX Crew Dragon as well as the SLS. To learn more about these, check out our video covering the Artemis I mission below:
