I don't think I would trust that system. Might work for a bit, but eventually those seams on the floor will leak. I think you got to build this stuff more in line like a backyard pond with a liner that goes up past the curb.

Is that drain relying on sealant? Same question for the wall boards?

Before anything ensure all your studs are plumb and square. Also ensure that you have sufficient backing for all the boards

Sorry, I'm not trusting a bead of sealant to keep my shower from leaking. Any movement in the house could cause the bead to open up.

all youtubers out there? trying to get a nice shower. There is rules and regulations at your local building department or code department. Please make sure before you have anybody come into your restroom? They comply with codes that the state and your local City follows. It's very important to get it done right, not fast.
