Not being an art expert, but coming to presume an eventual typification process done to the frescos before putting them out to the public at least for this era's branding of them.
But seeing all the depictions, and the style they're drawed in, the postures the characters are depicted in... it looks a lot like "caucasian art", so to call it.
I don't know what figurative Israelite art looked like outside of the Ghabaray font they created and used, but I know what Javanian-Edomite art looks like.. And what seems most probable to me here is that this synagogue was created to leave a false misleading record.
Might be wrong. But it looks too much of a European style to me
