2017 Excellence in Rural and Remote Palliative Care Award

Every two years PCA recognises those working in palliative care who go above and beyond in their profession with the National Palliative Care Awards.

In 2017 a new award category was created to recognise excellence in rural and remote palliative care.

Lesley Forrester, Regional Palliative Care Coordinator at Great Southern Regional Specialist Palliative Care Service, Albany WA won the 2017 Excellence in Rural and Remote Palliative Care Award at the 2017 Australian Palliative Care Conference.
