Here is my video game assignment for my Game Music Composition class. I was to download a video game project off of indieDB.com and compose music for the promo of the game as well as write a pitch letter to the company explaining why they should use my music for their video game. THIS IS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY

Thanks, a typical Hollywood presentation has certain characters have their own signature sound...ie Jaws bm bm bm bm bm bm or slow drawn violins when the unknown is certainly lurking around the next corner. You should also BUILD the intensity as the play unfolds. When at the apex all those signature sounds are blasting at the player pumping up his experience of the play. Or not.

Basically. Different pads and soft synths generated off of my M-Audio keyboard with various random adjustments of their control values to generate a desired sound/emotion.

BTW - M-Audio Keystation Pro88 is what I'm using and it is awesome. I love it.

I use a Delta 1010 Sound card. Tell me how's that M-Audio keyboard. I've sold them when I worked Pro Audio at Guitar Center but wasn't using one at the time. Just a suggestion, you could try BUILDING your tracks via the look of the video. Like take portions of instruments say the drums as the only track then add other instruments that represent movements of characters so when that certain character or action is on screen that music represents that person or issue.TOO short explain here
