Steven Wilson - Ancestral Solo (Guthrie Govan) played by Yasi

I took the challenge and transcribed this solo by ear.
allowed myself to stick to my kind of phrasing instead of trying to sound too much like Guthrie ( which is not possible anyways)...

you always amaze me, I show you playing to the older guys at the coffee shop and ask them to follow your fingers. I tell them I've followed you since 13 and they are blown away with your skills and hard work. One guy, a renowned local, runs a recording studio, I gave him a peek and he said "virtuoso"

Somehow beeing able to play the guitar/do music always made me more popular with girls in the past, which was a complete mystery to me. I mean how could music possibly make people more appealing?..well i think i just understood :) Great playing! I like your version of the song, it is different from Guthries, but it has its own appeal :)
