They listened to this young man because he was not coming to them to make an argument, take a stance, or with a debating mindset. He came to them with personal experience, love of God and love for them, and knowledge of who he was in God and who he was culturally. THAT'S witnessing.

I live in Rwanda a small East African country. Missionaries (abazungu "white people" as we mostly call them in our mother tongue) came in 19th century teaching us about Christianity about Gods commandments and how he wants us to behave as his children. What surprises me most is that those "bazungu" same people are coming back telling us to accept homosexuality, transgenderism, ... we are tired now! We chose to follow the true word of God and obey his rules i think now they should leave us alone.

☦️🇪🇹For anyone wondering Christianity was introduced to Ethiopia in 34 A.D. with the baptism of the Ethiopian Eunuch in Acts chapter 8 verse 27 later on Ethiopia officially became a Christian nation in the fourth century becoming either first or second country to ever adopt Christianity officially. Furthermore as our brother already stated the Ethiopian orthodox Bible is nearly 800 years older than the King James Version. Also, I wanted to include that there is a massive genocide happening right now in Ethiopia against the orthodox people, and they are trying to bring an end to this historic and very beautiful church. the gospel was preached in Ethiopia at the very very beginning possibly only months after Jesus ascended to heaven when the Apostle Philip preached to the gospel to the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts chapter 8 who received the Lord and was baptized on the road as he was heading back home who left there rejoicing . The Ethiopian eunuch was the first evangelist to bring the gospel to Africa and this is right at the very beginning of Christianity!!! First century!!! ❤❤❤
