You're needed now more than ever, and this sort of denial of reality that's getting more and more aggressive is so damn disheartening. Thank you for what you do.

There’s also the issue of melting icebergs causing desalinization.

So this berg broke off in 86’ and started moving like four or five years ago. It will probably get got up in the southern currents and drift around slowly for decades as it’s been decades when it broke off the shelf. I know was stationed in the Antarctic.

Speaking as a Rhode Islander, I promise there’s nothing to worry about.

Rhode Island: did you know there’s an iceberg out there named after me?

Imagine if these chunks just slammed into beaches, might be more alarming to the general public

It's 2025 Feb 7, and I heard about an iceberg the size of Delaware that broke off and was headed towards Georgia Islands *last year*. Is this another one or the same one but they're just now telling us about it? The Georgia Islanders are worried this gigantic piece of ice might float over and block their harbors and they won't be able to dock any ships!

I think a lot of comments are from the poorly educated or willfully ignorant people. If you don’t understand how climate and weather are different, Google it. If you don’t understand how fish feed on smaller fish and organisms, Google it. If you don’t know bees make all our food even possible, Google that too.

I don't believe in climate change but I do believe the Earth is alive and changing on purpose. All is well❤

If it keeps melting we will see the loss of deserts, then what will we do?

This is why we need more surveys of the ocean floors to identify what’s warming the oceans. Underwater volcanoes? Hyperactive vents? Gaps opening and releasing magma? It’s obviously not human activity.

Better enjoy the warm cause. This plant loves to freeze over.
