why people didn't do a distance test outdoor?

Thank you for sharing this test.
Surprising for its price.

It's generally advisable to use this type of microphone outdoor. The longer the mic tube, the more difficult it will be to manage the reverb .So in an indoor use case, the "room" should not be reverberating. Or even better it's advisable to think of a small shotgun mic or microphone with a hyper/super -cardioid polar pattern (if we want to hide the mic (out of frame), otherwise of course there are dynamic microphones or even large diaphragm microphones which should normally be placed not far from the mouth).

On the other hand, as you mentioned, the directivity of this long microphone will be more precise (it's relative). So for noisy exteriors or distant sounds the mic with long interference tube, can be quite practical.
Sometimes there are "exceptions".

As a professional sound engineer and cinematographer, this microphone is very good. I which I can get a hold of one to test on my next cine shoot which starts in 2 weeks and test it for Thanksgiving Day parade.

This is a good mic... I would have loved to hear how it sounded with the wind sock/dead cat. That usually takes away the "Air" noise a bit better. But it's a good sounding mic I will order one. Thanks

How is this mic at rejecting early reflections in a lightly acoustically treated room?
I have an LDC mic that pics up a lot of reflection in the room. It's difficult to eliminate in post. So I'm considering a shotgun mic. Tha ks

What will be the output from xlr input. Like does it have 3.5mm jack on the other side? Can we anyhow connect it to camera directly if camera only has headphone jack?

Did you notice self-noise from this mic? When I setup in my studio to record voice from 12 inches away at -20dB I hear a lot of self noise from mine. It's there at the same level no matter how quiet the room, even if I put the mic in a soundproof box. Sorry if you get this question twice, I sent it yesterday but it did not appear, so I'm trying again.

Hi there... I am new with microphones so I need advice. I need shotgun mic for use with my Sony a7IV camera for kitchen / cooking video. Mostly I want use it for direct sound recording of food preparation like cutting, slicing, fraying or something like that. I don't want my mic to be very close to dish... 50 to 60cm at least. Kitchen isn't to big, 14 square meters. What you guys suggest? This Boya 6060L or 6060? Thank you in advance and best regards.
