The North Cascades are an absolutely epic national park located in Washington, on the border with Canada. Mount Shuksan is one the most prominent peaks in the range at 9,131 feet and saddled with massive glaciers feeding old growth forests far below.

This climb is a PNW classic, following the Sulfide Glacier Route from dense rainforest, up through alpine tundra and granite slabs to our base camp. The following morning, we roped up and crossed the Sulfide Glacier to the summit pyramid--an 800 foot rock pinnacle. The final climb was a free climb (Class 4 & low Class 5 crux) up the gulley to the summit. The down climb was a bit spicy in some areas, causing us to rappel 4 different pitches with unaided down climbing in between rappel stations. There were existing rap anchors around solid rock formations, but YMMV so come prepared with everything you may need. Feel free to message me with any questions or comments below!

I must have missed it, what is the elevation.
Am I mistaken? I feel certain I saw you going southbound of Sonora pass back in august 2021
