This game is SO under rated! It made my best family games of the Year list last year. It’s like the classic game Rack-O but going in two dimensions instead of one. Thanks for bringing more attention to this hidden gem!

Thanks for the description of this game and your favorite part. It seems like a great lightweight family game, and I'm hoping to get a physical copy soon.

I first discovered 'Lucky Numbers' on BGA. I really enjoyed the puzzle that this game provides. Pay attention to what your opponent might need. Sometimes taking a number you don't necessarily want it better than handing them what they want. I was able to find a physical copy at my local game store. I feel it's an under-rated game and is easily overlooked.

I found the following variant credited to Bruno Cathala:
"When placing a clover (on an empty space or when replacing a clover in your grid), if you create a diagonal of two clovers of the same number that are adjacent, you take another turn".
This can produce a chain of multiple turns by the same player !
Separately, , to eliminate the luck factor on initial set up, maybe a 'Libertalia' style draw of 4 tiles from one 20-tile set could determine the same diagonal start for all players ? Or, otherwise make it fixed - say all start with 1-8-14-20 ?

That image, the thumbnail, looks like a lottery ticket and it was close enough to April Fool's Day that that's what I thought the video was going to be a review of a scratch off as a favorite mechanic

I just played BGA as well, really enjoyed it. I am not good at it but it was fun. I want to get a physical copy.

Sounds like a 3x3 would be an interesting realm for Rolling Realms…
