The story of the U-505's capture by Capt. Dan Gallery is fascinating reading. The heroics of the boarding crew is praiseworthy. Read Gallery's account which is minute-by-minute, and really spellbinding. Nice to see the boat in mint condition, and stored inside.

I took the tour of the u boat yesterday it is very small it can have 52 men on board and aa guns on top overall the best u boat I have seen at a museum
