Pour 100ml of white vinegar mixed with 200ml cold water into sterilizer. Allow it to stand in the unit until any lime scale has dissolved – DO NOT SWITCH ON. Just allow it enough time to dissolve. Clean it with cloth, finger, whatever. Drain and rinse unit. Run a full cycle with baskets/racks inside and lid on using exactly 90ml of water.

Forget descaling, use purified or spring water come in bottles. I haven't descale mine for months. Usually had to descale for every one or two weeks.

Hey, how do you whiten the plastic after turning yellow?

I tried it.. added just pinch of citric acid crystals and water to heating plate and when it started boiling the fumes were very strong I was not able to breath.. quickly I had to turn it off .. even the plate turned black coloured . What went wrong please explain also I have thoroughly cleaned the plate by boiling water several times in it.. let me know if it's safe to use it

Why are bottom plates in India often made of a plastic-like material that starts peeling? I'm unsure if it's safe to use anymore.

mine had burnt like smell and it stays on baby bottles my child had diarrhea and im concerned maybe she got it from the sterilizer after i stop using it my baby thank God she is ok now.

I bought this sterilizer from Philips avent official website in Pakistan. From the last two days when I start it then light is blinking but no automatic stop or not even it produce heat for sterilising and when I see there is water in reservoir . This water should have to evaporate if it sterilize . I am worried about it what should I have to do?? Even I clean the reservoir where we have to put some water

Philips AVENT 4 in 1 electric steam sterilizer his is not a good product. I bought one. It is pricy and broke down two times already. I definitely do not recommend it.
