Dammit -- this is becoming my favorite sport. Classic slalom is interesting, but also a bit boring. This direct competition is a real thrill! Watched every minute of it during the Paris Olympics. Even changed a character in novel my daughter and I are writing: she was a kayak slalom champion, but now she is a WILD cross kayak gal -- water person, albeit born in the desert...

It‘s completely against the nature of canoe sport. A spasmodic try to make it „cool“ or „hip“.

This is like those silly Japanese TV shows. The result is random and independent on skill. Athletes bruised. Who's idea this was? It's not serious in any way, a medal in this discipline is a joke.

It is ridicoulos and only luck depending, therefore not exciting to watch. Sad it was established in the olympic program at the cost of serious canoe disziplins that were reduced.

Funy game, bur this is one of the disciplines in which I personally could perform after 10 trainings. Therefore, respect for disciplines such as athletics where athletes train every day their whole lives
