The Third Commandment teaches us about Holiness from the Word. And it’s still more interesting than Table Talk Radio.

This is so meaningful to me coming from a multi-generational SDA family. That church stands on three pillars: the inspiration of Mrs EG White, Sabbath sacredness and the doctrine of the investigative judgment. The first and final are easily dismissed and disproven. However, the Sabbath question sticks like glue. This presentation is the deepest and most discerning treatment of this issue. Thank you very much.

That's a great explanation of Holiness, God putting his name upon us. It's not the good works that are Holy, but the fact that God has put his name upon them.

I am enjoying the Ten Commandment series. Thank you for showing the emphasis on the "keeping it holy" -- not by doing (our 'good' works) but by hearing (preaching & word).

Excellent concept to dwell on, being made holy, something we don't do, but Christ does.

Peter added the links! Good job. I like that you pointed out how most people focus on the word "Sabbath." Focusing on "holy" made it clear and is a reminder that it's about us belonging to Christ...and why.

Great teaching pr. W. I use these to supplement teaching in the church I serve. It seems that this command in particular needs to be brought forward as more than just "going". But "hearing". Thanks

Using this with my 4th grade midweek class as we work through the 10 commandments. They are enjoying it. The boys especially like the opening martial arts portion

Good Study on the 10 commandments ! I have enjoyed the series. As someone else mentioned the comment about not focusing on the word Sabbath but on Holy makes it a bit clearer to me as well.

Is the 3rd commandment the only one that has a ceremonial law component that is fulfilled so that it is no longer necessary for Christians’ observance?
