Great video for someone trying to find their feet and go a direction in Mining. Just got Solar and looking purpose the spare Kw into mining. A friend said go ASIC but I thought that would be risky at least i can sell old GPU cards if it doesn't work out. I thought more miners would talk about solar being the next leap of investment instead of buying the latest cards or ASIC machine. A mining machine would also help to heat a house during winter so that is a Kw offset for heating cost.

Dj Mines brother awesome 👏 video truly great job! and I 100% agree! all miners should 100% diversified their mining farm if they want to remain profitable during crazy market fluctuation... I started out mainly with ASIC then got GPUs when ETH pumped for the very first time years ago! Mining for me is about making money first and supporting the coin you like second! I have never taken an L with any of the ASIC I purchased over the years since 2014, buy them in a low market for a good price even if another one comes out before the bull run buy that too, because during the bull run the last 2 or 3 previous generation will sell for 2-5x more than you originally paid for it! Just remember you got to sell it during the bull run it will feel strange because it’s very profitable during that time but you got to sell it because after the bull run it’s not going to worth much, and keep the latest model for yourself.

I’m here trying to figure out which rig to get. I’m a developer looking to learn so I’m thinking of starting with a GPU rig so I can expand GPUs as the budget becomes available. As I understand it’s modular and expandable. Would you suggest GPU or going with a s9 14T ASIC rig as a starter rig before getting serious. I’m mining 100% solar so there’s no electricity cost.

Back in the day they built an ASIC to brute force DES encryption which was the US military encryption of the time. The EFF's "Deep Crack" machine contained 1, 856 custom chips and could brute force a DES key in a matter of days.

The factor some of us run into is the cost.
I have a couple L3++’s that are are unprofitable and unplugged. A couple of GPU’s that are barely making money, and not much to invest. The $2k I have right now was not easy to come by for me. I can’t really buy any ASIC’s that’s going to make any money. I can get more/higher end GPU’s with a long term ROI. We don’t know what the future will have in store. It’s all really a gamble it seems.

i think this debate will never end and there is pros and cons
even if you are expert you wouldnt believe your k3 will turn into brick that fast
just imagine K3-KDMAX-bmk1max all of them in 2022 were in top10 beasts now cant even reach 1$

ASIC in my opinion I’m waiting on my K7 ordered February 7th. I may build out one GPU setup to do it for understanding and just because I enjoy the mining process and community! Right now I just don’t know enough about GPU rigs. I’ve been mining for just over a year stack and hold. I can’t say enough how well my experience has been with the community! Keep grinding bro!

Most GPU Miners during the last bull run dreamed of buying ASICS…. And now when they are reasonably priced and accessible… All the GPU Miners talk about how they don’t like ASICS… they are to loud… Or any other BS Reason. ASICS are #1 And will always be. The only GPU Mineable coin worth Mining is $FLUX Honestly I think deep down the GPU Miners who hate on ASICS Just don’t have the Capital to play with the big boys. Makes no sense why Miners are loading up on unprofitable GPUs when they could be buying Profitable / Semi Profitable ASICS that would absolutely smack a GPU Rig in profit during a corrected Market. #Marker #Pink
