Tips and Things to Remember:
🚍 Public transport can be unreliable – consider using taxis or the metro, especially if it’s your first time.

👜 Stay vigilant for pickpockets, especially in crowded areas and tourist spots.

🌞 It gets very hot during the day – stay hydrated, wear sunscreen, and take breaks in the shade.

👟 Wear good shoes for walking on the cobblestone streets to avoid sore feet.

👗 Opt for comfortable and light clothing to stay cool and comfortable while exploring.

📅 Plan your visits to popular attractions early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid the heat and crowds.

💧 Carry a reusable water bottle to refill at the many public fountains around the city.

📱 Download offline maps or a navigation app to help you find your way around without relying on inconsistent mobile data.

In Rome, you can walk everywhere and there’s a subway. Always bring cash.

The public transport in Rome is extensive and extremely useful and reliable, accepted that at peak hours the buses maybe a little late. For tickets, you get them at literally any tabaccia shop (which are abundant). Better to always buy beforehand.

Most things in Rome are walkable though! And for things that are further away your best bet is using the metro, it's really extensive and reliable.

Non capisco: l’opinione su Roma è costituita da colazione, cena e biglietti dei mezzi… il fatto che ci siano alcune delle opere artistiche, monumenti e reperti archeologici più importanti del mondo e alla base della civiltà occidentale … passa così, in secondo piano, dietro un bombolone alla crema….
È bello sapere che c’è della gente al mondo con questa consapevolezza !

I honestly advice you to use only the subway, in fontana di trevi there's a subway station, then move into the city, i am sorry for the busses by the way😢

Buses, public buses in Italy wxpecially in the South are not very reliable, but you can go in many places .Train is usual more reliable, but also for many reason often late.We Pray for better politicians and intrepreneur

Sorry about the bus fine. But technically you were taking a ride without a valid ticket. It has happened to all of us. For the rest, classic tourist Rome. You have missed out on so much.

Maybe your homeland is more clean, efficient, with no crowd, with a better wheater but don't forget Rome has 2777 years of History behind his back and is the Birthplace of Catholicism, religion of 1.5 billion people in the world. So if what you are looking for is cool weather, efficient transportation, with few tourists, I can recommend some nice town in the Austrian Alps, maybe it won't have 1000 churches like Rome, maybe only one, but I assure you that it is great, healthy, well organized and with a cool climate
