The problem is that as each week, month, and year goes by these devices can do more. Its hard to decide which product to buy with things changing so fast all the time with both products.

Having to use a remote defeats the entire purpose of hands fee voice and you need to make sure the remote is located nearby. The remote option is amazon advertising that they're message receiving capabilities are not as good as they should be, or else just a gimmick used to suck more money from consumers!

I'd say the goal of Google is more open source and will vastly surpass the somewhat closed source corporate purchasing goals of say an Amazon or iOS (speaking of which, where's their innovation lately?)

1. No IFTTT support in UK (essential)2. Unless you are prime member music is very limited..(250 of your own uploads).3. Cant answer simple questions4. Hundreds of skills....(all useless and american). Unless you want cat sounds on demand....5. Cant reveive calls through bluetooth6. Used for two months in uk, just get a bluetooth speaker with music from spotify on your mobile.
