Patrick Honohan:
Current Position: Senior fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics, Honorary professor at Trinity College Dublin.
Previously, the Governor of the Central Bank of Ireland a senior advisor on financial sector issues at the World Bank , a research professor at Ireland’s Economic and Social Research Institute, and an economic advisor to the Taoiseach (Irish Prime Minister).
Research Interests: banking crises, financial liberalization, dollarization, and the impact on poverty in developing countries of expanding access to financial services.
