"Get outside." is the absolute best advice anyone can give to anyone else. Luckily I work outside.

It's a good idea to find a field guide of your local native plant life to get an understanding of what's around you!

Greetings from Germany and thanks for this video!
Now I know what "Laubbäume" (Deciduos) und "Nadelbäume" (Conifers) are called in English!

An absolute dewdrop of a video - short, but packed with visual feasts and the right amount of information to get someone interested, but not overwhelmed.

Lovely post! 🙂 My father graduated with a forestry degree and spent his entire life in the timber industry, including a number of years in Kamloops. I always loved having him point out the different species of trees.

100% get out doors and spend some previous time with nature while we still have her to embrace. She will always love you back unconditionally, like a big grandparent type hug!!!! Lovely work as always babe.

I knew what the joke would be in that opening bit, and it didn't disappoint.

Thank you so much for this and other informative videos. You bring the wonders of nature easy to understand and enjoy! I am learning all about trees from you. You are a real life woodland Princess!

Angiosperm and gymnosperm are more accurate names than conifers and deciduous. You have identified at least one species of broadleaf or angiosperm that does not lose it leaves and there arte others. At least one conifer, the tamarack is deciduous and loses its needles. Beautiful and golden inn the late fall is the tamarack. Keep it up. I love what you do

Every video you make gets me smiling. Knowledge & subtle (or maybe not so subtle humour). Love it !

i'm glad you go more in depth outside of the shorts! for some reason youtube never recommended this one to me

interesting to hear you call what i would call a madrona tree an arbutus. it really is nice to get to know the trees around you.

i'm living in a new place now for school and i still haven't found the difference between alders and birch very well, i clearly need to pay more attention.

I am going to add this video to the playlist I use when I'm teaching my students about plants! It's a wonderful little piece of Media and they'll be glued to it like an insect on sap
