Agree that these frameworks are very attractive, several of them have not been very active recently.
RedwoodHQ product has not been updated since 2017 (Version 2.5 8/15/2017), Galen has not been updated since 11/3/2018, would be great if you produced a video with OS Frameworks that are still actively in development.

I understand we can use external libraries like Selenium, Appium etc in this framework.

Actually we had already created TESTNG framework where we have created our own methods using Selenium libraries in JAVA.

So wanted to check if there is any way to use our own existing java library /Class in Robot framework so that defined methods can come as drop down like any other keywords and we will be able to use them.


If yes, could you please share any tutorial/video for the same.

I am using my Eclipse Mars on my MacBook Pro and not sure how to set the shortcut (video at 3:36) . Because of this step not done, I think when I execute I get "[ ERROR ] Suite 'Acceptance' contains no tests." and results in build failure.

I really wanted to use Robot Framework, but what ever videos or other study materials I found was in Python, which I don't know.
Being my main language JAVA, when I watch your video I was quite happy that I don't need to learn a new language(Python) just to use Robot framework. My main reason to use Robot Framework is automate FTP library and XML library. Basically I download an XML file, via FTP and make changes and upload it to another location. Do you have any video on such thing? If not, can you please make one for me, if its possible. I am sure it will be useful to many other people as well.

I learned robot framework and Java in your tutorial, but I found an intermittent error.
The message error described class not found error. I searched some solutions related jython dependencies, I have included the dependencies but the the behavioor didn't change .
