Can you please spell the name of the boot you recommended? I’m suffering badly from a bipartite sesamoid and it’s impossible to rest since I am a single mom with 3 kids and a husband. Thank you 😊

Ive been dealing with tibial sesamoiditis and a chronic tibial sesamoid fracture for almost 9 months. Ive been in a boot for 8 weeks and now a recovery shoe for another 8 weeks. The last resort i s to get the surgery. I have done red laser therapy on it for the first time and its helped me just start outting weight back on it. Not completely healed yet but Should i consider doing this laser therapy instead of sesamoidectomy?

thank you so much, this really helped reassure me that I likely don't have a fracture and have bipartite instead. As a football player who pushes on the inside and also goes into deep toe bend a lot, how do I avoid my bipartite from flaring up again?

I'd been dealing with pain in my foot for two months. Nothing unbearable. It hasn't kept me from doing anything. But it's def a nagging and noticeable pain.. especially during certain activities.. and some days are worse than others. Went to a podiatrist and he said I have a fracture in my sesamoid. He confirmed I have Bipartite sesamoids. He gave me a cortisone shot and said if that doesn't work, he usually just removes the bone with surgery!! This seems a bit extreme to me. Every where I read said that's the absolute last resort and lists so many other possible treatments. How do I find a podiatrist that offers different options. I would love to explore a variety of treatments rather than go straight to surgery
