Atakhan is a greater Demon like Tybulk, Nocturne, Raum, Evelyn, and Tahm Kench.

While they are not as powerful as Ten King level. They still possess many great abilities and enough power to decimate entire army... But even that if their enemies posses a great powers their enemies can still defeat these demon.
For example. Sylas and Lux managed to ward off Nocturne multiple times as Nocturne often go after them.

Or Sahn Uzal manage to beat Raum Atakhan and Tybulk with a simple bronze great mace and his sheer brutality before subjugate all those demon by having a warlock of his tribe bind them to his will.

Or Vayne and Yone who recklessly hunting down demon left and right some of those demon are greater demon too.
