Switching to Screen Mirror Mode on DeX

For those who couldn't read the video.
1. go to settings
2. connections
3. more connection settings
4.hdmi mode
5. (here you can switch between screen mirroring and dex)

doesnt work.... followed those instructions and I can confirm....it just stays in Dex mode.

What the video does not tell you is that you need an HDMI cable to use screen mirror mode for your PC or TV. Otherwise if you connect using a regular USB cable It will just Connect using Samsung Dex if at all.

I don't have Dex docking station and don't want one. I just want to use my phone like I used to. Samsung pushed an update and I can't simply connect to my tv using a HDMI cable anymore. Help :(

How do you control Dex from your phone in the first place? I plug in my tv and all of a sudden, I see this screen that doesn't match my phone's display, and I can't do a thing.

Guys, just do one thing. Turn off the DEX mode in the Settings and then it will automatically screen mirror it...

you need an USB to HDMI adapter for about 30 bucks. very very bad work on this one samsung. shame, shame, shame..

stupid samsung dex made me locked out of my phone when i had just found the solution to getting it work with a broken screen via usb-c to hdmi+ usb hub.
unnecessary bullshit
