I really question Zonta here, he would have seen the yellows, saw a bike in the pit lane enterance, and somehow still didn't react until it was too late. Or, worse, he wasn't looking at all, at which point im wondering what hes even doing in Moto2.

from my perspective, maybe zonta was coming like 80 before entering the pit lane with speed limit at 60, but before that he was ready to avoid the slowing arbolino and then the marshal is in his way, idk let the fim motogp steward what to say about this incident

The Marshall is completely to blame for this. He got in the way of a simple left adjustment to clear the stopped rider because he lacked situational awareness. He didn’t even think to look back for approaching riders.

Per iniziare, Arbolino non poteva stare lì, lui non stava andando lentamente per rientrare ai box, lui stava spingendo la sua moto spenta per portarla nel box tramite pit lane invece che service road, cosa che si dovrebbe fare quando la moto è spenta, ma utilizzare la service road voleva dire perdere tempo e magari non avere più modo di girare ancora in pista.

Poi quel marshall che entra in pista, perché la pit entry lane è considerata pista, senza dare un minimo sguardo a quello che succede alle sue spalle è scandaloso! Ci sono moto che viaggiano a 3-4 metri di distanza e fanno i 200 km/h, come ti viene in mente di buttarti in corsia così a casaccio?

Ricordo un bruttissimo incidente occorso a Tom Pryce in formula1 se non sbaglio a Kyalami, fine anni '70, dove un marshall, che a quei tempi erano poco più che spettatori volontari presi e messi lì, attraversò la pista correndo con in mano un estintore per aiutare dopo che si era verificato un incidente, senza calcolare minimamente la velocità che possono avere quelle macchine e soprattutto senza pensare che non si attraversa una pista con le auto che ancora girano.. in quel momento arriva Pryce che investe in pieno il marshall, riducendolo in pezzi, e nell'impatto l'estintore che aveva in mano finisce dritto sul casco del pilota causandone la morte istantanea.. 2 vite perse in un attimo senza nessun senso!

Questo per dire che spesso nelle piste extra europee non c'è molta cultura del marshall e della sicurezza in generale, non hanno una tradizione decennale come può essere a Silverstone, Monza o Mugello..

It looks like he was going to go past on the left side, then the marshall runs into the track from that side without checking first
Still pretty stupid though as he should still drop his speed enough to move round a bike that's stopped
