Great video, highlighting the importance of gender justice and the powerful role that women play as leaders within the ELCJHL. It's important to have representation and equal opportunities for all genders in leadership positions, and it's encouraging to see the progress being made in this area.

Being a baptized a regenerated person (the context of Galatians 3:28) does not automatically qualify one to be a pastor or bishop. Through St. Paul’s letters, the Holy Spirit is clear on the qualifications of being an overseer, one of which is being a man. It is no coincidence that the churches who have embraced ordination of women in the last half century or so have also compromised on many core Christian doctrines, even to the point of flirting with universalism. It’s the same age-old question that first deceived Eve and continues to deceive her sons and daughters: “Did God really say…?”
