It is a very nice little display and widely available, it cost around £20 which is well worth paying rather than playing the Ebay lottery.

"2.2 inch screen..."

Hmm I expected it to be bigger 😂.

Nice video dude. Id recommend trying out andypi's screen from his website or his ebay shop ^^. Basically the same but it comes as a kit and its only £15

Thank you for vid. Do you know if it's possible to load full screen bitmap and keep it as a steady background, then keep loading smaller bitmaps in certain places on the screen or even shift these small bitmaps within defined regions? What i plan to do is to simulate old style mechanical counter like the one you could see on old fuel distributors on gas stations. Do you think it is possible using adafruit gfx lib and predefind bitmaps of numbers written onto the SD card? Thanks:)

Can you wire an av camera directly to the display itself? There's an fpv dvr with playback that has av connectors that I want to use. Any info is appreciated.

Hi David Watts,

I am having some trouble getting my 2.2" TFT display to work with my Arduino Nano Atmega328.  I've downloaded the Adafruit_HX8340B library but it says there's some thing wrong with the script every time i upload it.  Can you help me?  Cheers
