PYD Life Christmas Ornament Sublimation

How to sublimate a photo or other graphic on to ornament sublimation blanks. Easy project and they make great gifts or from a business end, an easy custom made item that would demand a good return.

Those look really good Roger. Love the vibrant colors. Can you sublimate on clear film to make it easier to align them on the ceramic and MDF? Just a thought. Thanks for the video

I sublimate the double sided MDF blanks one side at a time, but I have to let them cool off completely before doing the second side. I haven't lost any ink on the first side. I have some double sided aluminum blanks that will have to be subbed both sides at once. I'm thinking I'll just do a repeating pattern on the back side of those so I don't have to worry about placement precision on one side.

Is special paper needed or can any paper from any printer work?

Thanks Roger - I think I should had gone down the Sublimation Road instead of investing in the laser engraving. It looks way more satisfying.
