"Give *one* a try", she says...
I've managed for 30yrs without a needle minder - never heard of them - but I think you've just introduced me to my new obsession. If I can't get my hands on a hedgehog or duck anytime soon, there's going to be trouble! 😂🦔🦆

I will add this. I use needle minders for a couple different things. When I stitch, I use one of those metal pattern holders, and I have a couple of needle minders along the top and/or sides to hold loaded needles, scissors and the needle threader. And I was stitching in the airport yesterday, I accidentally figured out that I could attache the needle minders to my small stitching kit and recreate that set up on the fly.

Thank you for sharing! I saw some laser cut wooden ones on a sewing website and I didn't understand how it worked. I feel like I will make my own!

Another wonderful video! Thank you! I have a few needleminders. Some of them can be quite expensive if you add shipping. I love the ones from the UK, so I can't let one needleminder travel across the pond alone. While I am paying shipping, I might as well order a few! ; )

Love needle minders❤ I've had to go through a couple of ones with weak magnets 🧲 but am now using ones from a British company which are really strong. I never used one when I was cross stitching 30 years ago but have recently returned to cross stitching and minders make it so much easier.

Love my needle minders. Have about 10 at the moment. As you say they are great little gifts for stitch friends. The really strong magnets even hold small scissors. Thank you again. Fun watch as always.❤

Love my needle nannies, and thank you for warning about the possibility of staining your project. Found this out the hard way by leaving a needle nanny on my work for too long or it not being a good quality one. Great video

my original comment disappeared somehow. The short version is 1) I somehow discovered these almost as soon as I started stitching about 3 years ago and 2) I just barely stopped myself from buying them by the dozen on Etsy and 3) they are almost as addictive to make as to buy! :D

My grandmother put her needle in the arm rest of her chair and during a football game my dad slammed his hand down on said arm rest and put the needle in his hand. Needed an ER visit to remove it!! Ekkkk! 😩
