Comey is considered a smart guy yet of all the things he felt Trump was implying it never occurred to him that the reason Trump kept asking him about McCabe and other things was that Trump was going to fire him? He says Trump was a liar, that he felt uneasy about talking with Trump and that he stated he didn't want to ever be left alone with Trump but was so sure of his position that being fired was never a consideration.

After all this I would of been very worried about the future of my job if this had been happening to me.

I find this interesting for a few reasons. One..Trump did ask for his loyalty. Two..he did ask for the Flynn thing to go away (essentially what happened) and three Trump and Comey seem to be in agreement that the investigation includes those in is inner circle or were...the point of these hearings is to help truth come out...and that is what should happen
