Building the future: Impact Report Launch

Over the past 60 years we have shared stories of how The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award has impacted the lives of young people across the globe. Now, thanks to the ground breaking work that we have done with PWC we can show the value of that impact. Our impact research has revealed participation in the Award equated to a value of £400m across more than 130 countries and territories, in 2020. We’re excited to share our global findings with you, presented in our very first impact report: Building The Future, The impact of non-formal education and learning in times of disruption.

Join us in conversation with a panel of experts and key leaders including IAF Secretary General John May OBE DL and PwC partner Alan McGill, chaired by impact investor and researcher Şafak Muderrisgil. This virtual panel discussion event will introduce Building the Future, discuss its significance for the wider non-formal education and learning sector, and celebrate the launch of this seminal report.
