💡💡💡About me:💡💡💡
Hi! I’m Sergey! I’m creating easy and comprehensible stories in Russian.
I’m teaching Russian since 2016, and although I’m not a professional teacher, I do have a lot of experience and I’m a language learner myself. I use comprehensible input (CI) and TPRS, which are some of the best methods in natural language acquisition. On my channel you don’t have to memorize bunch of words or learning grammar rules. Just sit, watch, read and enjoy!

whenever I watch you-tube or movies movies on-you tube I go into settings, (the little spin wheel on the bottom of you-tube) to change the speed of the speech. Than I activate google translate, than I start watching and google translate translates a few paragraphs. During advertisement I pause and go into google translate and read both, the Russian and the English.

Привет Сергей! Any advice for dealing with a Russian speaking partner who is incapable of speaking with people at the A1 level? Maybe you could write a quite note in Russian that I can give to him? I mean, he was saying stuff like: Cтоит уличных знаков на улице? First of all, he's using "уличных" - we haven't even covered those types of adjectives yet (with the -ых endings). We are only on 1-word adjectives. In fact, we were talking about a painting one day, and I asked him to use EASY words like: The painting is blue. You know, just make EASY sentences. He was like: I can't use easy words to talk about art. So, he's really getting on my nerves and it's so frustrating to see so many people on iTalki who claim they are tutors who haven't the slightest clue as to how to talk to beginners. Not to mention, he also doesn't want to slow down. So, if you can provided me with a message in Russian that I can give to him to make him understand, that would be great! It might help others here who also have to deal with idiot tutors who can be clueless sometimes.
