Iraq: Zeina couldn´t go to school

ISIL is no longer terrorizing people in northern Iraq’s Hawiga district. Children like Zeina have returned to school and we’re helping them to return to their normal lives.
3000 children participated in catch-up classes, psycho-social support activities and awareness sessions.
100 facilitators and teachers were trained in providing psychological support and teaching in crisis contexts.
The project is implemented by People in Need and ACTED, and funded by EU Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid (ECHO).
