Creating an Order Acknowledgment, Packing List & Bill of Lading in Excel

In this video, I show you how to create an order acknowledgement, packing list and bill of lading in Microsoft Excel 2016. This allows the user to enter the information in one location and have it transfer to the appropriate places on the other forms. This was by special request from viewer Mike K and I hope this helps many people accomplish this task.

Formulas used were vlookup and iferror; also used was data validation to create drop-down lists, set print area, insert page breaks, hide zero values, hide NA error messages, insert worksheet, and much more.

I'm looking for opportunity to make an orders by client in cloud. For example there is one file in cloud client open and fill it up with his specification and then employee change let say colour when it was accepted or not. Is it possible in ms office?

If in the Item included various products how can I do the lookup, for example, Item 1 is a Travel Kit that included 3 products I need to separate on the description because each product have a difference lote number so when I do the packing list each product have his lote number

Argh, I feel like this is so close to what I want to do, but not quite. I have a main entry sheet and want to create packing slips mail-merge style (rather than manually with drop downs).

In my spreadsheet I've got columns containing (in order from left to right): Order number, Name, Delivery location, Product SKU, Product Name, Product Size, Product Specifications.

The places where I'm running into trouble with a traditional mail merge is that one Order number appears in the column as many times as there are items in that order. So where I need one packing slip for order #1234, #1234 is assigned to several items in my spreadsheet. So I don't exactly know how to parse out the data so that a) the Packing slip contains only the data for #1234, and b) the Packing Slip contains ALL the relevant items for #1234.

This is very close to what I would like to do but I have a simple spread sheet with all the data to place an order and would like to automate it. so for example, order #1234 could span multiple lines, each line being a different product on the order? And you would like all the products to be on just one order form for order #1234. How would I do that please?

Hi Sally, I really like your format, I have a question if you could teach me how to do it.

In the item section i would like to add an extra column state Item per box.

Eg: item#124 theres a purchase of 100 item and each box contains 10 item. How to set the formula to allow it to instant calculate the figure?

Please help me out

I have a request for a video! I am trying to make a automatic order form/sales form and inventory chart. I am trying to make it so when I click a product it will display the unit price, and take away from another sheet out of the inventory. how would I do that?

I got a question. I want when i type in a number in the item column that it gets information of a different sheet where the item info is like the price and the actual name for the item. so what I mean is if I type a number in the Item column that it gets all the info from that item. so its like when i type in that item number that al the data comes in the despcription and price. Please answer you would really help me out.
