What are the consequences of not taking sacrifice seriously in religious practice? Jordan and the roundtable (now joined by Gregg Hurwitz and Ben Shapiro) continue their exploration of Exodus 24, focusing on the details of sacred space, ritual and worship with specific emphasis on the ideal of sacrificing in order to live up to the highest ideal—and the disunity that comes from disregarding the importance of sacrifice as a result.

Can’t explain how great this convo is. When you try to talk deep truth everyone listens and it’s quite refreshing and you enlightening

Such a healthy debate. No heated argument, no swearing. Just wise adults helping each other to understand the topic.

It's always nice to see such diversity in these conversations

You should make this a series where there are conversations about biblical meanings, and other spiritual texts among religions.

Actually, in my humble opinion, it seems like the covenant of blood went all the way back to the garden of Eden, when God himself had to prepare the sacrifices/animal skins to cover Adam and Eve because of their sin. And it was beginning the knowledge that, without the shedding of blood, there is no sacrifice for sin

Why is this video so short? To have Ben Shapiro, Jordan Peterson, and Dennis Prager in the same room discussing the Bible is a feast for the brain and heart.

As a non-Jew, I am fascinated by the Jewish culture and love hearing these types of discussions. I frequently feel as though non-Jewish faiths are shrinking and losing their impact on society and it seems the Jewish faith is not. Please keep up these discussions and post them if you can.

I'm very happy to have an episode of Exodus to watch while Ben is taking much needed rest during Passover. The discussions also touch on some absolutely amazing points! Great job 💕

Success is not built on success. It's built on failure, It's built on fraustration. it's built on fear that you have to overcome. I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life

I miss the time when discussions like this were common and everyone was interested in finding an answer.

Mankind fared much better when they believed in God, it not only added stability to their lives but hope in their hearts. 😞

Ben is bringing a lot to this table. I have learned so much from this, the Hebrew edge is important! Keep Ben at the table, please.

I have finished school last year and now I am shivering with fear to move forward. I am, however, succeeding in starting a life of my own by the motivation of having a big family and fulfilling my Godly roles as a husband and a Father.

It's pretty simple, a sacrifice is whenever you hit into an out, but at least one runner advances. It doesn't count against your average either, it goes as no at bat, only a plate appearance.

Christ sacrificed all for us. Praying for Ben. I actually know two completed Jews. I hope all find Christ ✝️🙏

The whole point of Jesus coming was that people were giving blood sacrifices at Alters, performing circumcisions, doing the rituals but not escaping the sinful thoughts/actions within every human. Therefore, those sacrifices meant nothing to God, so he came to be the ultimate sacrifice himself to pay the toll for our sins. That's what I believe. I know many fine Jewish folks are laughing, reading this post which reminds me of a funny side story... Don Rickles, a Jew, took his best friend, Bob Newhart, a Catholic to the Holy Land. Bob Newhart asked the Jewish tour guides to show him where Jesus was born and the two guards just started laughing. That story always tickles me as I hear Don Rickles telling it in my head.
