Cool video! It's also noteworthy that in 1963, it was proved that the circle is not "scissors congruent" to the square, meaning you can't cut it into pieces "with scissors" and rearrange them into a square. I read that in the introduction of the 2022 paper you cited; there, they decompose the circle into Borel sets.

In a practical sense it is very easy

Step 1: get a metal circle
Step 2: melt it
Step 3: mold the molten metal into a square

Diagonal of a square is a root with having +& - both values. Pi is a fraction with + value. A 200 oder of magnitude of pices makes positive infinity into negative infinity.
