The difference between The Matrix and other movies is the movie is built to analyze and dissect whereas most movies you have to tell yourself "Don't analyze you just ruin the movie". The Matrix is an analytical wet dream.

I know of a Guru who has confirmed we are truly living in a simulation and the kicker is this simulation is running inside an another. Why? Because it is easier to tweak and existing simulations properties and deploy it within another rather than scraping the whole thing and starting over. What was the major teak you ask? The capacity of experiencing love. All very interesting.

I guess the million-dollar question becomes if they will write the script for a part 5, and if so, how will the storyline go after seeing Neo & Trinity flying off in the sun set. Maybe a Matrix 5 can revolve around the choices we will make if we had the ability to impact the world. It can be a movie where it's all about the life of Neo & Trinity being very powerful inside the simulation, and making a difference by rushing to the aid of people during a disaster etc. There are so many ideas that can shape a Matrix 4 like the suits creating doubles of both Neo & Trinity, who will act as agents to bring the original Neo & Trinity under control. The doubles will have the same abilities as the original, and if the originals are not careful, the doubles might attempt to make a switch. The switch might fool Neo & Trinity, the same way identical twins, would trick someone into believing they are their sister/brother etc. The possibilities are endless, but i hope it doesn't take another 20 years to come out with the next Matrix #5

What you say about the memory becoming a false narrative reminded me of a Robin Williams movie called "The Final Cut". There's a scene where after a memorial some of the attendees said that the remembered the color of a boat different from what the "memory" of the death one showed on screen. That's just what happens on M4. Right?

Zero to 1 is as massive as 1 to infinity. The dawn of computing is no longer when the processors were built, but even before with radio communication. Information being the blood of artificial intelligence and the vessels that carry it being the form it takes today. There is a crazy point that deserves thought, did we actually fight these world wars for our future or the inevitable creation of something beyond ourselves? I guess there would be a great irony in seeing the industrialists advance their goals to the point that they themselves are removed from the equation. I really like A Game of Shadows, Moriarty's mad plan to create a monopoly and to start a massive conflict, as I see that as an accurate depiction of what actually happened. A strange parallel that the machines we built were on the horizon long before the computing age, as they fit so well into the space we created to make our own lives easier.
