Cleaning Dirty Henry - How To Clean A Smelly Vacuum Cleaner

Henry is full to the brim, and the filter is blocked as a bag was not used, so we decided to give henry a little clean up. washing out the bucket, we washed the filter although the label says do not wash we have not had any problems with doing it, at your own risk i guess, a little polish and a new bag and henry is good to go again,

But your just emptying one hoover dirt into another, you'll just have to empty the other one then, doesn't it make more sense just to tip the dust and dirt from Henry into a bin bag

It makes more sense to use a dust bag so the dust isn't clogging up the motor and burn out because it overheats. The workmen typically use a Henry without using a dustbag which blocks up with dust and burns the motor out which is so foolish If it's washed it gets rid of any smells and saves the motor.
It makes it easier to wash out without having to vacuum the dust out first. Don't think people realise.

Why do they use your Henry bagless I prefer to use bags cuz then they don't have a massive dust everywhere every time you empty them and do you still have him
