Mitoma's stands out for several reasons. 1) the long pass from the keeper was not just a hoof up the middle, it was a planned and well measured delivery - a similar pattern occurred vs Brentford. 2) The duration and distance between the pass and the first touch was several seconds so a lot could have gone wrong, 3) the ball was high in the air and over his shoulder so he had to predict where it would come down all whilst he was running at full speed, 4) he was under pressure from the defender whilst all this was happening 5) it wasn't just the first touch but the second one also had to be perfect to take the ball to the side of the defender whilst maintaining his own cadence 6) the curling finish into the corner.

I've watched the Mitoma goal back a dozen times and, not only is it a sublime touch, but as far as I can tell from the moment he controls the ball he doesn't look at where the goal is; he just instinctively curls it into the bottom corner. Amazing
