Pseudo-referendums on the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine are still planned by Russia

The Russian authorities are at the stage of planning pseudo-referendums on joining the temporarily occupied territories to Russia. Denis Pushilin, said that the date of the referendum on the joining the 'Donetsk People's Republic' to Russia would be announced after the so-called 'complete liberation' of its territory. The Russian invaders are going to open 495 polling stations in the Luhansk region and about 300 polling stations in the Donetsk region. However, there are too little local citizens who support the invaders so the Russian authorities are planning to buy their votes in exchange of help with their housing problems. The Civil Network 'OPORA' says that Moscow will only create the appearance of the legitimacy of the voting like 8 years ago, while analysts say, that the pseudo-referendums like these will not have any legal consequences. No legal basis for ruzzia to organise referenda within a foreign country. Therefore, any such attempt would be meaningless. Only Ukraine can organise referenda on its territory. Ruzzia occupying foriegn territory does not make it theirs. The parts of Ukraine occupied by ruzzia still remain Ukrainian whatever ruzzia believes.

Let the Chinese know that if a 'referendum" in the occupied territories is supported by them then perhaps it sets a president as to how the Russian and Chinese governments prefer to solve territorial disputes and perhaps a similar referendum should be proposed in the UN general assembly for the disputed territory of Taiwan!
