How to Auto-Download all of your Discord pictures at Once!

In this video I'll show you guys how to automatically download discord pictures and videos that are sent as messages. This method works for private messaging as well as public discord servers

• Try using version 1.36.1: It's the same one I used in the video.


• If you tried that and you're still having issues with the history command, try this:

The history command does not work with 1 channel ID, when you use "history it does work. You can just put in twice the same channel ID and then it will download the history!

It works! If you are having problems with the history make sure you are copying the right ID from discord on the web browser url. The ID is different from you to the alt, vs alt to you, so make sure you don't mix those two up.

As of October 4, 2023 this is still working using version v1.36.2

A few pointers:

1. If the program doesn't stay open, try opening it 4 or 5 times until it does.

2. The history command is used through the alt account. Send a message FROM your alt account TO your main account. In the video it appears as if he sends the command from the main account and this is not correct and will no produce a response.

While typing this I have 800+ images downloaded so far, and another 2, 000 or so to go. It's great when things actually work, and this little program does.

In the latest version of the Discord app, you'll find Dev Mode under Advanced (in the sidebar) in the settings. 2:42

It was working, then I added to the config to get the history and it stopped. A working solution was to download the latest version and run it with the current config file. Very pleased with this!
