Untreated Shoulder Labrum Tear? 😱 #shorts

Показать описание
Left untreated, a shoulder labrum tear can progress to chronic shoulder pain leaving you unable to use the arm fully or sleep comfortably. It sets up an early development of shoulder osteoarthritis because the mechanics in the shoulder will not be the same.

How can you tell *when* the muscles around the labrum are strong enough to keep it from tearing?
Also, how do the muscles around keep it from tearing when they are developed enough?
This is very interesting, thank you

had mine torn from 14 to 20 years old. I would dislocate CONSTANTLY. Doctors wouldnt believe me. Had one doctor at a hospital tell me I was just there for pain killers and that I was a drug addict or something. My now husband was there with me when that happened. I was shocked. Doctors finally trusted me when they watched me dislocate 20 times in a row. Got sent to ER via ambulance. *sigh* I miss sports. Glad I can sleep and just live without dislocating anymore though. It really sucked.

I had 3 tears in my right shoulder. I opted for PRP injections instead of surgery. It wasn’t immediate but over time I am good and pain free.

Haven’t been avoiding anything but it definitely sucks having my shoulder just dislocate whenever it wants. It’s been years since the initial dislocation I got surgery a couple years after but didn’t go to PT, now I’m trying to figure out how to build the muscles in my shoulder to hold it in better

I had a tear 10 years ago and I still feel the pain if I try to engage in activity. Can I treat it now? (I hope I have not missed the bus?). If yes, how to treat it? Please help.

Thanks

Hi I'm 23, i had a shoulder pain back in 2months i had a MRI and the MRI shows a possible hill Sach's lesion and antero inferior labral tear - possible soft tissue bankarts
Do i need a surgery?
I've connected with nearly 6 doctors and the doctors are like 50-50 some suggest surgery and some not.
What to do in this situation, can you please assist me here!

i either have a rotator cuff tear or a labrum cuff tear, my MRI isn’t until next month. i wonder how much more damage can be done until then. also, i keep it in a sling periodically but i’ve noticed it hurts more in the sling than when i let it hang. why?

Torn my labrum 4 times . Think I’m just getting a replacement at this point

I have gone to ortho and they did a few test saying it seems like torn labrum in my shoulder. My shoulder pops often does this mean that my rotator cuff is loose
