Dive into the debut of MEOVV, THE BLACK LABEL's highly anticipated girl group, as they launch their first single "Meow." Despite being backed by producer Teddy and featuring star faces like former child model Ella Gross, the group's debut has sparked a flurry of mixed reactions from netizens. While some praise the group's visuals and stage presence, others criticize the song's similarity to previous works by Teddy and its resemblance to BLACKPINK's style.

3.Netizens' Opinions: 💻🗣️
Fans voiced mixed reactions online, with many expressing hope for stronger future performances. While Ella faced criticism, members like Gawon and Sooin were highlighted for their impressive stage presence.

I honestly have no clue what some people's fantasies/expectations are but I genuinely believe they themselves couldn't tell you what it really is?! Seriously, it's quite fascinating to read the negative comments regarding this debut single!
The M/V in my opinion is a very solid, polished debut single! It's not over the top but to call it disappointing, is being disingenuous! I don't know how many of you can remember how minimalistic Blackpink's "Whistle" was and then we heard "Boombayah"! People need to chillax!!!

meow didn’t feel like a blackpink song to me, it was more similar to ‘badtitude by bad villian’

Everyone needs to Chill, its a debut rookie group, there is going to be stiffness and nervousness for the next few months.
Also it is just one song. If Blackpink style means it has OK then that is almost every YG related group and half of all kpop.
If it was easy listening, people would say its copying NewJeans, if it is more girly, they will say Twice...
I actually felt like they had something... not sure what, but it was not a clone of anyone.
I will be patient and watch them some more and see what develops.
I think like BabyMonster, they will show different styles and genres per release.
Kind of stupid to judge on one song of a debut group.

Netizen nowadays, anything got associated to yg, teddy, blacklabel will be put into similar to blackpink category. Blackpink is too huge for the industry.

I didn't like the song but I still have hope in them. Hopefully they will do better in the next song. And it doesn't sound like blackpink song😅
