Rafael's artistry is absolutely impeccable. His playing is evocative and leaves the listener completely impressed.

This previously "lost" composition of Rodrigo's leaves me a little cold. I'm not feeling it at all. Yes, it's virtuosic and difficult blah blah blah, but it doesn't add anything new to Rodrigo's oeuvre. It's just not something I want to play. On the other hand however, after hearing "En los trigales" at the age of twelve, I was off to the public library the next day to look for the score.

My apologies about the rant people... Just couldn't resist getting that off my chest.

Superb playing by Rafael as always! The image is very clear and well shot but I personally didn't like this video editing cuting takes almost every note.
