Will Southwest Airlines Start Charging for Bags?

At the 2010 Shareholder's Meeting, Chairman, President & CEO, Gary Kelly, was asked a very important question, so he enlisted a few Southwest Employees from our latest commercials to help him with the answer.

I`ll have to admit to you, it does bother me when the nose of the airplane touches up in the takeoff process of departing from somewhere at the beginning of a flight. But at least I can safely say that Southwest Airlines is STILL the ONLY airline in this country that deserves my heart and loyalty.

So really what I am trying to say is that The Bags Fly Free ad may be borderline to Jerry Springer, or whatever, but at Least when they say Bags Fly Free, They mean what they say. Your First set of Bags that are under the weight limit fly free on SWA where everyone else charges you more. For me, Those that serve people before themselves deserve the right to do this kind of thing. GO SWA !!!

I just wish that there was a way that Southwest Airlines could fly from Nasville International Airport in Tennessee to Orlando International Airport in Florida so that I can literally be able to be more of a loyal traveler to Southwest Airlines.

I flew with Southwest Airlines One time from Nashville International Airport to LAX in California and Back . I will admit, It does physically bother me when the plane speeds up and the nose points up in takeoff process of departure in the beginning of the flight because I am afraid of not knowing what is happenning.

My Only Challenge with Airplanes in General whether it be Southwest Airlines,
US Airways, etc. is when the plane speeds up the nose points up and takes off into the air in the departure process in the beginning of any flight.
I just need to be entertained or occupied untill I am stable and the plane that I am flying on is stable. The Stewardesses at SWA that I met were kind to me and helped me enjoy my flight.

The way that they are sending the message may be borderline, but There are businesses here in this country that will stage something from the cleanest content, to the dirtiest content to promote in a way that speaks goodness to your face, but will ultamitly SCAM YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY.
I am glad to say that Southwest Airlines sends a bags fly free message with content that may be borderline but at least they MEAN BAGS FLY FREE . I LOVE SWA !!!
