Kyle Rittenhouse began sobbing in court as he testified about the night prosecutors say he killed two men and wounded a third. The judge decided to momentarily pause the trial after Rittenhouse broke down in tears.

The former police youth cadet was 17 when he went to Kenosha during the summer of 2020 with an AR-style semi-automatic rifle and a medical kit in what he has said was an effort to safeguard property from the unrest that broke out over the wounding of a Black man by a white Kenosha police officer.

Until I watched the trial for myself, I didn’t know the gas station where it all started and where Kyle stayed up until they started attacking him, is owned by his grandparents. They came on to his property to attack him.
I didn't know that Kyle put out a dumpster fire that was being rolled down to a gas station to blow up, with people all around.
I didn't know that the Police were told to stand down as businesses were destroyed.
I didn't know that Kyles Dad, Grandma and Friends all lived in Kenosha, 20 minutes from where he resided with his Mom part time in Illinois.
I didn't know that someone knocked Rittenhouse down twice and then attempted to kick him with lethal force to the head.
I didn't know that Huber had hit him in the head 2x with a skateboard.
I didn't know Gaige Grosskreutz, aimed his gun at Kyle first, as he admitted on the stand.
I also didn't know that in the State of Wisconsin, it is legal for Kyle to have a gun, even at 17 (which was why the gun charge was dismissed).
I didn't know that Kyle did not cross state lines with a gun he wasn't supposed to have. The rightful gun owner did, as he was legally permitted to do.
I also didn't realize that Rosenbaum was a 5 time convicted child rapist and that Huber was a 2 time convicted woman beater. I didn't know that Grosskreutz was a convicted Burglar with an assault on his record also.
IF THE MEDIA DID THEIR JOB... we would ALL have known this and tax payers dollars would not be wasted and more division created!

Not crying. But definitely a distress and panic overload. I know how that feels. Suddenly not being able to breathe, your chest and face burn, and all your muscles tense up and you tremble. It’s awful.

To be honest anyone claiming this is an act is an absolute idiot, you cant just pull an act like that off that easily, you can tell it's genuine, it really does not take a genius to realize that. Most of the people saying this is an act are probably just saying it because of their political biases on the matter and simply can't admit that maybe Kyle is not a bloodhungry maniac...

Yeah this isn’t “crying” this is full blown ptsd I’ve seen it many times working closely along ex military who are diagnosed with ptsd. A rush of emotions which come from a very intense experience usually deadly experiences can cause reactions like this.

When I was in hs my best friend was decapitated next to me in a car accident. I have pretty severe ptsd and I can tell you from experience he was absolutely having an anxiety attack. Anyone who thinks he's faking has never had to deal with that. All these morons act so tough but put if they were in Kyle's shoes they would have folded.

That’s not crying, that’s a full blown panic attack. I hope this kid gets all the money he deserves, it’ll never fix the trauma he’s received and now the thousands of slanders calling him a white supremacist but it’ll surely help him move on.

Wow, that was on another level.
I'm surprised that they are still allowing this trial to continue.
All the evidence has already been submitted.

Kinda hypocritical of how that the people who preach ja bout how important mental health is make fun of a guy going through a panic attack. Had Rittenhouse been a Democrat, they would call him brave for defending himself and taking the stand, even when suffering an panic attack.

I know the feeling. The tensing up and uncontrollable breathing is exactly how it feels to relive traumatic moments in your mind.

Don't know much about this case, but coming from my own experience, this looks like a textbook panic/ptsd attack. It's like feeling like your about to die all over again. Probably the closest thing you can experience to hell on earth I feel for Rittenhouse.

It’s so disgusting that people make fun of him for PTSD

Years ago I was at home when someone broke into my house with a gun. One of the scariest moments of my life. I can relate to this because when you get asked about something like this, you're not just trying to explain it, you're living through it again. Textbook ptsd.

That wasn’t crying, that was a panick attack from recalling the experience in his head in such detail.

Pretty sure he wasn't crying, but having a panic attack. I've seen people get extremely frustrated in situations like these

For all denying his feelings here, my son does the same thing. Just the other night he came over to discuss an personal issue he is having, he looks just like this. Trying not to cry leading into almost a panic attack. So many men would just be better off letting the tears flow, but are raised not to cry.
