So relieved to see COLOR coming back into interior spaces....we need to see LIFE, VITALITY, interests/humor, etc. in people's homes.

The 1st is the prettiest but when you live in a tropical climate none of these dark moody interiors work AT ALL when you have bright sunshine 24/7.

In our 1910 craftsman we just did our bathroom in the first color combo! Dark green on all walls + ceiling, wood stained vanity and accents with white marble top and brass fixtures! We love it so much! Our claw foot tub and plants compete the room. Oh and we did it for only $1, 200! Just a bit of paint and a new vanity. Transformed.
We have two big windows in the room and the floor is creamy/bright white so it doesn’t feel too dark in there.

Navy/midnight blue with a lighter-midtone brown and stark white is so crisp looking. I'm a fan. It's like an inverse of the previously-popular sky blue and deep walnut brown combo, which I also thought looked great in a lot of rooms.

The Forrest green, brass and cream white has been a trend since 2012 and I still love it! :)

Love this! So glad forest green is back baby! Reminds me of my parents house from the 90’s.

It’s giving late 90s early 2000 vibes. Please don’t let mauve come back!!!!

Not me with the velvet emerald green curtains and gold/brass curtain rod.... I love the combo. Super glad its getting trendy. I picked it two years ago because I wanted something different from all the gray.

Aaaand I have walnut?! First time in my life Ive ever been trendy.

Remember these color combos from the early to mid 90s in homes around Houston, Texas. 😀

I’m finally back in style 😂 I love the darker colors especially in greens and browns, it’s so comfy, reminds me of a walk in the woods.

Thank you for showing color schemes that give these beautiful colors context and balance 😊 These are really beautiful colors and it good see they are coming back. I hope this is not off-putting, but "hunter green, " navy blue, and "burgundy" are the colors I associate with the way traditional/classic was being interpreted in the 1980s (think Cheers) The "hunter green" especially - it was super popular for few years in cozy little bars and restaurants as well as homes, and then it got so popular it was considered cliche and suddenly it was out of fashion. In homes, there was a tendency to use dark green, blue, and red colors in one room, which was too much. You are showing how these colors should be used to bring out their beauty without being overwhelming. - you are the pro!

Man does this feel validating. Painted my kitchen/dining room that first color scheme and no one trusted the process. Now it has such a cozy vibe to it when the morning light shines in. No regrets.

Burst out laughing at the first one, sitting on my dark green sofa in my cream and brass accented living room with walnut wood and art deco styling. I've been so proudly proclaiming how I avoid interior fashion trends and just go with what I like... Guess that's not as true as I imagined. That 'blue sweater' scene from The Devil Wears Prada comes to mind 😅
