That's funny that the interviewer asked if it was challenging because of being a lefty! He's as good as he is because he is good at overcoming challenges. That is the difference between an average guitarist and a virtuoso.

I may be a little late here but when learning the guitar or basically any other instrument, it’s hard either way so it doesn’t matter if you are left lr right handed, that’s the reason why you will never see someone play left handed in an orchestra or see someone play a “left handed piano”.
