7 months sober from alcohol and hard drugs.. it’s 6am Iv been up for a hour I’m about to meditate now… currently reading a book called “the biology of belief” oh and I havnt read a book in years and I have 5 sat infront of me now… my connection to animals has strengthened my understanding of reality has changed, more people are willing and want to connect in public.. I get and Receive more eye contact and more smiles from strangers… Iv been gerrinr tattoos lazered off… I got several cavity’s fixed and had my teeth cleaned professionally.. I’m training again at the gym.. swimming sauna and jacuzzi ext… talk about a spiritual awakening!!

In my 60s am living off grid in beautiful rainforest, growing organic food, thankful every day, haven’t been to a doctor for many years, breath work and cold showers daily. And I love to drink whiskey. Living well doesn’t mean we need to be perfect in every way ♥️

I stopped drinking alcohol, consuming caffeinated drinks and stopped smoking. I feel great. It was effortless, when I had struggled before. I feel great.

This is happening to me. First it was coffee. I switched to decaf to help the process and now I don’t enjoy coffee really at all anymore.

Alcohol too. I’ve done sober nights with friends and it’s become less and less appealing to put it in my body. Dr Andrew Huberman and Dr Matthew Walker have incredible references on how alcohol affects your sleep, and how it affects mood and stress levels you even if your having just one or two a week.

I set my alarm for 5am now. I watch the sunrise every morning. Drink tea. Listen to positive and motivating music or wisdom. Then I do yoga and meditate before starting me day.
It’s definitely life changing.

I’m eating better now too and becoming much more aware of what I put in my body.

You still have ups and downs. But that is life. At least you’ll be much stronger and have more control in how your handle it.

21 days to break or make a habit. 60 days to reprogram your mind. That’s all it takes.

I'm definitely going through the alcohol one lol. I've never been bothered about alcohol anyway, but I'm finding that now, I just can't stand it or anything to do with it

Amazing. This all happened to me about 3 weeks ago! From a daily wine drinker to zip. Addicted to the news, started listening to podcasts? Being more mindful and definitely looking after myself! This is crazy. Thanks for the validation ❤
